Year End High Pt & Reserve HP awards for Jr. & Sr. rider:

HP- Ariat tall boots              Reserve Ariat paddock boots

 

HP and Reserve HP Horse &  Pony

HP- Show Bridle            Reserve– Leather Halter/name plate

 

High Pt Trainer Award: 4 nights for 2, air/hotel & rental car

to their choice of Puerto Rico, Bahamas' or Dominican Republic

 

Res. HP Trainer: 3 nights paid hotel for 2 w/choice of locations

 

**You must show at least 4 shows to qualify for year end awards

Division Specifications

 

Leadline - 8 yrs/under, no cross entering

 

Pre-Short -  10 Yrs/under, cross to PL W/T,GAYP

Short Stirrup EQ- 12 yrs/under, riders may cross enter into pleasure only

Short Stirrup Hunter- 12 yrs/under, mounts may cross enter into pleasure only

Student Equitation O/F - riders in their 1^st or 2^nd yr

Pony Pleasure– Open to Juniors on ponies

Pony EQ– Open to Juniors on ponies

Pony Hunter– Open to Juniors on ponies

Maiden Hunter– Horses/ponies 1st yr  showing O/F

Green Hunter– Ponies/1st year, horses/2nd yr O/F

Junior/Child/Adult-Open to Juniors & Amateur Adults

Working Hunter-Open to all

Puddle Jumpers-Open to all

Novice Jumpers-Open riders & horses  per VHSA/BHSA rules

Low Jumpers-Open to all

Children’s Adult Jumpers-Open to Junior & Amateur  Adults

Rules

 

1.  In order to accommodate all classes and riders through out the day, a 3 minute gate rule is in effect for all classes.

2.   All ages and class restrictions for riders and animals are determined as of December 1, 2007.

3.  Pony measurement cards and amateur declarations must be in possession and provided if requested by show staff.

4.  A  copy of a current negative Coggins must be submitted with entry per VA law.

5.  The judge’s decision is final.

6.  All classes are run in accordance with VHSA and BHSA     rules.

7.  ASTM/Currently approved hard hats with harnesses are required when mounted at all times.

 8.  Proper show attire is required in all classes.

9. All dogs must be kept on a leash and away from ring/horses. No exceptions.

10. Ribbons to 6^th place, Champion and reserve in all divisions. Points 5,3,2,1, Champion 10, Reserve 6

11. Divisions may be combined or split if entries warrant.

12. A $35 fee will be charged for any returned checks.

13. A $5 office fee will be charged to each show entry. 

14. There will be a $15 fee for horses schooled  & not shown.
